• In this role, you'll be part of a close-knit, supportive team dedicated to the smooth and successful operation of the Court. Every day brings new challenges and the chance to work with a diverse range of people—including defendants, witnesses, families, Oranga Tamariki, lawyers, and police officers. You'll play a key part in ensuring justice is delivered efficiently and respectfully.Your primary responsibilities will include :
• Court Taking
• – You will help facilitate the smooth operation of the Court, including introducing Judges (in English and Te Reo Māori), working closely with them in the Courtroom and Chambers, managing jurors, and general administration of the Court.
• Customer Service
• All courts have an onsite customer service area or hub that customers can access for any court-related matter. You will work to answer customer queries via face-to-face, phone, or email interactions.
• Case Management
• – This involves ensuring files are accurate and up to date. This part of the role involves a large component of data entry.This is a role where your organisational skills, adaptability, and commitment to service will truly shine. • You will be able to demonstrate strong customer service skills, quality decision-making, be solutions-focused and have the personal confidence and resilience to adapt to a dynamic work environment. You will be able to communicate confidently with Judges within the courtroom and their chambers, as well as other members of the judiciary.To be successful, you will need to be :

• Utu ā-tau / Salary
• The remuneration band for this role is $59,729 to $80,794 – the appointing salary will be based on skills and experience.
