Secondary (Years 7–15) / wharekura, Certificated teacher

Lynfield College is looking for an enthusiastic and capable itinerant Brass teacher (trumpet and trombone) to join our busy and successful music department at Lynfield College, for four hours per week.

The ideal candidate will able to :

• Work with a diverse range of students
• Prepare students for NCEA performances up to Level 3
• Encourage students to participate in the extra-curricular program

There are possible additional hours available if the candidate is able to direct an ensemble e.g. Concert Band or Stage Band.

Annual remuneration is dependent on qualifications and experience and will range from $61,239 to $103,086 in accordance with the Secondary Teachers' Collective Agreement (STCA). Individuals' actual base salary will be established by a salary assessment once a role is confirmed.
