About the Role :

This is a leadership role in a high-performing development team, guiding the build of a cutting-edge SaaS platform. You'll set technical direction, mentor developers, and collaborate across teams to deliver scalable, secure solutions using modern cloud-based tech in a pragmatic Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities :

Lead the architecture, design, and development of robust SaaS applications using C#, .NET Core, and Azure.
Mentor and support a team of developers, promoting engineering best practices and technical excellence.
Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, DevOps, and UX teams to drive feature development and innovation.
Guide technical decision-making and code quality through reviews, design sessions, and strategic input.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement, agile delivery, and knowledge sharing across the engineering team.

Key Skills and Experience :

Extensive commercial experience with C#, .NET Core, JavaScript, and SaaS application development.

Proven leadership in guiding development teams or technical projects to successful delivery.

Strong background in cloud services (especially Azure) and modern DevOps tooling.

Proficiency in frontend frameworks including Blazor, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.

Solid understanding of API design, integration patterns, and containerisation (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).

Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, proactive approach to problem-solving.

Agile delivery mindset with strong decision-making, planning, and mentoring capabilities.

(Nice to have) Experience with mobile app development or .NET IoT solutions.
