Mō te tūnga | About the role
No two days in the Oranga Tamariki media team are ever the same, in this role you will provide a point of contact between journalists and the organisation, facilitating interviews, crafting media responses, and developing proactive stories that showcase the incredible work Oranga Tamariki kaimahi do every day. Our Media Support Specialists are storytellers; they form a team of mostly former journalists who're based around the country. If you're comfortable in complex and challenging environments, and enjoy being part of a team, then this could be the role for you.

Oranga Tamariki offer a step-based remuneration package, that offers progression annually for experience through tenure. Annual remuneration for this position starts between $106,416 and $117,782 dependant on experience.
