We are on the lookout for a dynamic
Store Business Partner
to champion our brand, drive strategic initiatives, and help our stores deliver exceptional customer experiences.
Ideally based in Auckland, however for the right candidate we are open to considering applicants from the Hamilton or Tauranga regions.
As this role is store-facing, some travel will be required.
About the Role
As a Store Business Partner, you'll play a pivotal, store-facing role, working closely with store leaders and the Support Centre to :
Champion the Mitre 10 vision and values
across the network, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Drive operational excellence
by supporting the execution of strategic initiatives, brand standards, and ProgramOne deployment.
Partner with store leadership
to build capability, deliver commercial insights, and support long-term business growth.
Act as a trusted advisor
—providing coaching, commercial guidance, and operational support to help stores thrive.
Lead by example
in upholding our brand promise and ensuring every customer enjoys the best possible shopping experience.
What You'll Do
Build and maintain strong relationships with Store Leaders and Members.
Provide strategic business advice, leveraging data and market insights to drive profitability and growth.
Support stores in interpreting financials, managing budgets, and optimising operations.
Identify opportunities for improvement and share best practices across the network.
Collaborate with specialist teams (Health & Safety, Trade, Loss Prevention, Inventory) to deliver integrated support.
Support Members through store transitions and development approvals, ensuring brand continuity.
What You'll Bring
Proven leadership in retail, with at least 5 years' experience in 'big box' or multi-site management.
Strong commercial acumen and expertise in P&L management, budgeting, and business planning.
Excellent communication, coaching, and relationship-building skills.
Resilience, adaptability, and a drive to deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
Willingness to travel and work collaboratively across multiple locations.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI).
