Junior Engineer (Start Asap)

Your Role

Here's what you will be doing :

Deliver quality software engineering to support Kiwibank's vision of "super simple" experiences

Collaborate to create a safe and inclusive team environment

Help build fast feedback loops that drive evidence-based decisions

Contribute across the full software lifecycle, including development, automated testing, and deployment

Work as part of a team that values collective expertise and continuous improvement

About You

The company is looking for :

Proven ability to work as part of a team to achieve successful goals

Familiarity with building applications in at least one language ecosystem, preferably C#

Exposure to Kafka and Terraform is beneficial

Strong curiosity for how things work and how they might break, with a keen eye for detail

Confident verbal and written communication skills, able to convey complex information to diverse audiences

Eagerness to learn and contribute across the full software lifecycle

Basic understanding of backend development concepts such as APIs and databases

Good documentation skills and ability to communicate using online collaboration tools
