New Graduate - Dental / Oral Health Therapist

OverviewAuckland Regional Dental Service is seeking New Graduate Oral Health Therapists to join the Auckland Regional Dental Service (ARDS).

We have seven vacancies across the region and welcome applications from people who have a passion for working with children and families, and who are eager to engage with local communities to help reduce inequities in oral health outcomes for children.

Applications are encouraged from those who can indicate the areas you are available to work in when applying.ARDS provides free dental care to children across the wider Auckland region from birth through to year 8.

We work with children and families to support engagement in dental care delivered from a variety of facilities across our communities, including fixed dental hubs, transportable dental units and dental vans.ResponsibilitiesWork alongside other experienced clinicians in a supportive environment with the care of the child at the forefront.Participate in a comprehensive mentoring programme during the New Graduate year and engage in ongoing career development, training and postgraduate study as supported and encouraged by ARDS.Contribute to initiatives that engage with local communities to help reduce inequities in oral health outcomes for children.Indicate preferred areas or locations for work when applying.Qualifications / RequirementsNew Graduate Oral Health TherapistA passion for children's oral health and a commitment to equitable access to careWillingness to work across multiple facilities and locations within the regionAnnual Practising Certificate and professional association fees reimbursedAdditional informationHealth New Zealand - Te Whatu Ora is committed to delivering excellent healthcare and embracing a diverse and inclusive workforce.
