With a growing portfolio of projects across Auckland and Wellington, we are now expanding our team and seeking skilled Lift Mechanics / Installers to join our dynamic crew.
The Role : A Day in the Life
As a key member of our installation team, you will be responsible for the end-to-end installation of lift systems and associated structural components.
Your Core Duties
Project Planning & Coordination : Working from drawings and alongside project managers and site supervisors to ensure smooth installation workflows.
Mechanical Installation : Installing lift structures, rails, platforms, and support systems with precision and attention to detail.
Electrical & Control System Support : Assisting in the setup and alignment of lift control panels and electrical components to meet performance and safety standards.
Troubleshooting & Problem-Solving : Identifying and resolving technical or alignment issues during installation.
Quality & Safety Assurance : Maintaining high safety standards and conducting quality checks throughout each stage of the project.
What We're Looking For (The Essentials)
To succeed in this role, you will need :
At least 2 years of hands-on experience in lift installation or mechanical assembly.
A strong understanding of mechanical and electrical principles.
A clean driver's licence and commitment to safe working practices.
The ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive, positive attitude.
Must be legally entitled to work in New Zealand (NZ Citizen or Resident Visa holder).
