OverviewCommunity Support Worker - Permanent Reliever - AucklandLocation : Orewa, North Auckland.

32 hours per week.

$23.50 - $29.10 per hour.

Spectrum Care provides support for adults with intellectual and / or physical disabilities to live great lives.Work with Crompton Place where you will be caring for 3-4 males between the ages of 20-35.

These individuals are active and enjoy walking, water activities, and outdoor pursuits.

They like tech time and movies on rainy days indoors.

They are mobile but require support with balance, personal cares including showers and dressing, and overseeing meal times.

ResponsibilitiesCare for 3-4 males aged 20-35 at Crompton PlaceSupport with balance and personal cares including showers and dressingOversee meal times and assist with daily living activitiesProvide motivation and support for daily living skillsCommunicate effectively and supportively with family, colleagues, and the person you supportMaintain a calm and safe environment for the individuals in your care

Ideal CandidateInterest in attaining a Community Support Worker Level Three or higher qualification; employer can support you while you workExperience supporting people with disabilities, and / or mental health issues and / or challenging behaviours is desirable but not requiredReliability, commitment, and passion for working with peopleFull New Zealand driver's licenceAble to pass a NZ police checkProficient with computers (Word, Internet, email)

RequirementsFor non-residents : meet INZ Level 3 skill requirements to be considered : Have worked in the care workforce for 3 years or more, and been paid at least the care workforce wage rate during that time, orA relevant NZQCF qualification (at least Level 4 for skill level 3, or a diploma for skill level 2)
