The Opportunity
An established SME services business operating multiple sites across New Zealand requires an experienced, hands‑on interim Financial Controller / CFO to lead financial operations during a period of transition.
Working with the MD & COO locally, with a secondary line through to the parent company's financial leadership, you will take charge of day‑to‑day financial management whilst providing insights to support business performance.
This interim role offers the chance to make an immediate impact within a well‑established operation, bringing your expertise to streamline processes, strengthen reporting, and guide a small but capable finance team through a period of change.

This multi‑site services business operates as part of a larger New Zealand parent company structure. The organisation has built a solid reputation in its sector and maintains consistent operations across several locations. The finance function currently comprises 4‑5 staff members who manage transactional finance, reporting, and compliance activities across all sites.
