An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Advanced Dietitian to join our team at The Wellington Hospital, currently rated “Good” by the CQC.
The Wellington Hospital has over four decades of expertise; providing the highest level of care for patients who are looking for the best treatment in key areas of healthcare, including : neurosurgery, spinal surgery, cardiac care, orthopaedics, acute neurological rehabilitation, gynaecology and cancer care.
What you'll do
As an Advanced Dietitian, you’ll work with a high level of autonomy, managing the nutritional care of patients across a range of specialties including medical, surgical, and critical care. You’ll play a key role in service development, helping to shape and grow the dietetic offering within the hospital, while also deputising for the Lead Dietitian when required. This role includes mentoring and supervising junior dietitians, contributing to student training, in-service teaching, and promoting the dietetic service across the hospital. You’ll be expected to lead on quality improvement initiatives and clinical audits, ensuring the delivery of safe, evidence-based nutritional care.
