Business Analyst – Management Consulting Key
Skills :
Analytical Thinking & Problem Solving
– Ability to break down complex business problems and identify root causes.
Skilled in synthesizing data and insights to support strategic decision making.
Stakeholder Engagement
– Strong interpersonal skills to work with clients, senior leaders, and cross functional teams.
Experience in facilitating workshops, interviews, and meetings to gather requirements.
Business Process Analysis
– Proficient in mapping, analysing, and redesigning business processes.
Familiarity with tools like BPMN, Visio, Lucid chart, or similar.
Responsibilities
Requirements Gathering & Documentation
– Elicit, document, and validate business and functional requirements; use cases, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
Data Analysis & Reporting
– Competence in using Excel, SQL, Power BI, or Tableau to analyze and visualize data; interpret trends to provide actionable insights.
Consulting Mindset
– Comfortable working in ambiguous environments with a focus on delivering client value; adapt quickly, manage multiple priorities, and work under pressure.
Communication & Presentation
– Excellent written and verbal communication; create compelling presentations and reports for executive audiences.
Project Support & Delivery
– Experience supporting project delivery through planning, tracking, and reporting; familiarity with Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall; understanding of digital transformation, enterprise systems (e.g., ERP, CRM), and emerging technologies; translate business needs into technical solutions with collaboration from technical teams.
Required Experience & Qualifications
2–5 years of experience in business analysis, preferably within a consulting or professional services environment.
Exposure to multiple industries (e.g., financial services, public sector, healthcare, utilities) is a plus.
Experience working on strategic initiatives, operational improvements, or technology implementations.
Bachelor's degree in business, Information Systems, or a related field (MBA or relevant certifications like CBAP, PMI-PBA are advantageous).
