Terminal Operator – Bluff
Our client is one of the largest international energy companies, with a proud 125 year history in New Zealand.
As a key player in the national Oil & Gas sector, they operate multiple import terminals across the country that are vital to keeping New Zealand's energy supply running smoothly.
They are now seeking a
Terminal Operator
to join their dedicated team at the
Bluff Terminal
in Southland.

You'll be part of a close-knit operations team, ensuring the terminal runs efficiently, safely, and reliably.

Key Responsibilities
Assist with tanker discharging and bunkering operations
Operate the load rack and associated systems
Conduct routine terminal operations, including tank dipping and product testing
Monitor slops tanks and stormwater management systems
Support commissioning of new equipment and systems
Maintain excellent housekeeping standards across the terminal
About you
Understands mechanical systems such as tanks, pumps, piping, and control panels and is overall mechanically minded
Preferably has experience with terminal assets or product movement
Safety conscious and supportive of a positive work culture
Committed to adhering to all health and safety requirements and procedures
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong initiative and attention to detail
Is flexible to work outside of normal work hours as per operational requirements
Is comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
