About the roleOur commitment to excellence drives everything we do, and as the Reliability Engineer, you will play a crucial role in upholding this standard.You will be at the forefront of ensuring the reliability and performance of our sortation equipment and systems through identifying and managing the asset reliability risks that could adversely affect our Processing and Automation operations.

Your responsibilities will include : Conduct reliability assessments and analyses to identify potential areas for improvement.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate reliability best practices throughout the product lifecycle and implement a robust asset care strategy.Continuously monitoring and evaluating performance metrics to drive ongoing optimisation efforts.Developing and implementing strategies to enhance product reliability and minimise downtime.Taking ownership for the training standards of our technicians.Step into the dynamic world of NZ Post and be part of the exhilarating transformation within our engineering team.About YouAs a results-driven individual with a passion for operational excellence, you will have strong practical maintenance experience, in reliability engineering and maintenance planning.

Utilise your sound understanding of Reliability techniques and practices to drive decision making and utilise your strong analytical skills to translate data and information, turning this into actionable insights and outcomes.

Alongside the above, you'll couple this with : Proven experience in reliability engineering or a related roleExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teamsStrong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex dataA strong focus on safety, quality, and continuous improvementExperience in a manufacturing / industrial environment is highly desirableAbout NZ PostNZ Post is an iconic organisation with a rich history and bright future.
