"We have an opening for a Backfill / Dispatch role with one of our clients.
Job Summary
We are looking for an L1 EUC Support Engineer to provide basic technical support to end users. The role involves handling tickets, service requests, and providing onsite or remote support for hardware, software, and network issues.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide first-level support for desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices.
- Troubleshoot and fix hardware, software, and network issues.
- Install, configure, and update operating systems, software, and security patches.
- Escalate complex issues to L2 / L3 support teams when needed.
- Manage user accounts, password resets, and access rights in Active Directory.
- Record all issues and resolutions in the ticketing system.
- Coordinate with vendors for hardware repair or replacement.
- Make sure all tickets are resolved within the agreed timelines (SLAs).
Required Skills and Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or diploma in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.2–3 years of experience in desktop or end-user support.Basic knowledge of Windows OS, MS Office, Active Directory, and remote support tools.Good understanding of networking (LAN / Wi-Fi, IP).Strong problem-solving and customer service skills.Good communication skills in English (spoken and written).Additional Information
This is not a full-time role — it is a backfill / dispatch position.You will be notified in advance whenever a ticket is raised.You will be paid based on the number of days you visit the site.Please share your expected rate (hourly, daily, or monthly).Job Location : Christchurch, New Zealand

Requirements
