As a Graduate Environmental Planner, you'll join a supportive team of experienced planners who will mentor and guide you as you grow your skills and confidence.At Tauranga City Council, you'll be involved in a wide range of projects and resource consent applications that help shape our city.
You'll work closely with teams across Council and build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
We value objectivity and will support you to make fair, well-informed decisions.You'll be supported to develop and deliver key parts of the role, including : Processing a variety of resource consent applications, including complex onesMaking robust, legally sound recommendationsProviding planning advice to internal and external stakeholdersWriting clear, accurate planning reportsUsing negotiation, facilitation, coordination, and conflict resolution skillsContributing to business improvement initiativesIf you're looking for a role that offers professional development, exciting projects, and a great team environment, we'd love to hear from you!
