Senior Wealth Adviser

Our client is a respected New Zealand wealth and investment firm who is looking for a Senior Wealth Adviser to join its Private Wealth team. This is a role for someone who enjoys building long‑lasting client relationships, brings sound judgement, and wants to contribute to a growing advisory practice.

You will work closely with new and existing clients, guiding them through financial planning conversations, understanding their goals, and helping them make informed decisions about their future. You will also play a meaningful part in the local office, collaborating with colleagues across advice, investment and operations to deliver a seamless client experience.

About you

You will be someone who presents well, communicates with confidence, and is comfortable engaging with a broad range of clients. You may already be a qualified financial adviser, or you might come from a background in law, accounting, banking or corporate finance or a hunter‑style business development role and be ready to begin a career in wealth management. If you are not yet Level 5 qualified, full support is available.

You will enjoy relationship building, be driven to develop your portfolio, and have a natural interest in financial markets. Your work style will be organised, proactive and adaptable, with the ability to plan your day, manage competing priorities and travel within the region when required.

What you will be doing

• Providing tailored financial advice and ongoing service to a portfolio of clients
• Growing your client base through referrals, partnerships and proactive local engagement
• Supporting the wider office and contributing to national initiatives and projects
• Using modern financial planning tools to deliver high quality advice
• Building a strong presence in the community and representing the firm with professionalism
