To support our mission, we're seeking a Pest Plant Operator!
What does a Pest Plant Operator do?
In a nutshell, your role will involve vegetation and pest plant management activities within the region's parks and reserves.
Your daily tasks will include chemical spraying and herbicide application, manual weed removal, operating spray equipment and machinery, and assisting other teams as needed.
Who are we looking for?
Ideally, we would love someone with pest plant management experience; however, this is not a must.
If you are a hard worker, passionate about working outdoors and willing to get stuck in, you could be the perfect candidate.
Other success factors include :
A clean and current driver's license with the ability to drive a manual
A current GrowSafe Certificate
Being a team player with a positive attitude—helping out your teammates should come naturally
A desire to adhere to the company's health and safety procedures
Motivation and a strong desire to complete the job
Physical fitness, as the role involves a lot of walking and heavy lifting
