My client is an innovative business providing a game-changing Health & Safety software solution trusted by builders, developers, and construction professionals across NZ, Australia, and the UK. With strong market demand, a solid pipeline, and a product the industry genuinely needs, the company is primed for its next phase of growth.
On their behalf, I am looking for a Business Development Manager to join their team, servicing the lower North Island. In this role, you will own your region - identifying potential customers, generating leads, and managing the full sales pipeline from initial contact through to customer conversion.
About the role
- Driving growth within your territory by developing and maintaining relationships with merchants, builders, contractors, and key decision makers
- Building a strong pipeline through proactive prospecting, winning new business, and managing key relationships across the construction industry
- Communicating the value of this business effectively through tailored outreach and interactions, delivering insights and presentations that influence decision making and drive customer action
- Working with the wider commercial team to align on strategies and execute plans to meet revenue goals
- Contributing to continuous improvement by sharing customer insights and supporting product development
