We have an incredibly exciting opportunity for a dynamic Account Manager with strategic thinking to join our high performing sales team.

This role will entail managing a portfolio of Government & Corporate customers ensuring high satisfaction levels and mutually beneficial outcomes.This role is based in Wellington although may require nationwide travel.Our ideal candidate : A proven sales professional that will make a difference every step of the way and have demonstrated Account Management skillsA good listener, capable of uncovering client needs coupled with influencing skills to drive and present compelling travel solutionsHave a key focus on account retention, sales optimisation, and high customer satisfactionHave outstanding commercial acumen and market knowledge, to establish and retain strong working relationships with mutually beneficial outcomesAs a trusted advisor your relationship management skills will enable you to provide tailored advice on how our customers can optimise their travel budgetsYou will be naturally interested in the latest and developing trends in technology and how data & analytics can be applied to our ever-evolving industryKnown for your personable and engaging style, you'll effectively manage the needs of internal and external stakeholders, thinking critically and communicating concisely to achieve business objectives.ResponsibilitiesCustomer Portfolio Management : Manage a portfolio of assigned customers ensuring high levels of customer satisfactionBusiness Retention : Retain existing business within the assigned portfolioMarket Share and Revenue Growth : Maximize market share opportunities, revenue generation, profitability, and growth targets.Key Outputs : Manage and further develop an account portfolio to grow business opportunities and achieve agreed revenue, market share and targetsEstablish and maintain strong relationships with account portfolio from operators through to senior managers to ensure opportunities are leveraged and targets reachedExecute strategic business plans with customers to gain long-term commitments to Tandem Travel and AirNZBuild annual, quarterly and monthly joint business plans, actions and call cycle to generate revenue opportunities and meet targetsReview and analyse account performance through effective use of corporate management information systems and initiate corrective actions as necessaryProactively provide quality service to our key customers and identify business opportunities for improvement and increased revenueIdentify new growth account opportunities and implement account plans with the aim of further developing the portfolioLead and implement account training plans within assigned territories to ensure up to date information is provided to enhance satisfaction levels.Work Experience : Significant sales experience in a complex environmentHave previous TMC experience.Education : University degree in relevant discipline and / or equivalent industry experience.Skills : Strong results orientation with a track record of achieving superior sales results.Proven commercial and business development professional skills.Need Satisfaction Selling and negotiation skills.If you are interested in joining a team with established experience in strategic account management and are looking for a new role within a collaborative environment, this position may be suitable for you.
