Casual – seeking availability for day shift (6.30am - 3pm) Mon-Sun.

About the Role

Salary – Starting rate $

• per hour plus penal rates for weekend and night shifts.

Based on the E tu Service and Food Workers collective agreement.

Join our dedicated and hard-working Environmental Services Department and help maintain our facilities, while providing a suitable environment for our turoro (patients) and whanau.

Responsibilities

Completing all cleaning tasks to international healthcare standards.

Ensuring daily schedules and tasks are completed within set timeframes.

Operating and maintaining equipment safely around patients and whanau.

Handling cleaning solutions in accordance with safety protocols.

We are looking for a reliable, hardworking and flexible candidate who is able to bring their passion for cleaning to our facilities.

This role will suit a candidate that is looking to help make the Hospital a hygienic and safe space for our patients and whanau.

About you

Skills and Experience

High level of patient confidentiality.

Excellent verbal and written skills.

Excellent customer service and time management skills.

Ability to work independently and be self-motivated.

Accuracy and attention to detail.

Experience as a cleaner, particularly within health, is preferred but not essential.
