About the Role

We are looking for casual registered nurses that enjoy working in a challenging specialty area and have strong clinical skills. Ideally you will have experience with administering chemotherapy as well as excellent cannulation and phlebotomy skills.

You will have a key role in the delivery of patient care for our Infusion Centre. Providing serviceexcellence to our patients is essential, we currently deliver care to both Haematology and non-Haematology patient groups as well as outpatient infusions. We are also administering Sub-cutaneous chemotherapy for haematology patients.

About the Team / Service / Location

Our Infusion Centre has an established dynamic and growing department based at Waitakere Hospital. We are responsible for providing nursing care and the administration of outpatient infusions for a variety of services.

We are looking for someone that is focused, have excellent communication skills, motivated and have experience being a member of a team working collaboratively to facilitate and co-ordinate care that achieves health outcomes.

About you

To be considered we will need the following :

• New Zealand Registered Nurse, with a current Annual Practising Certificate

Minimum of 3 years post registration acute experience as a Registered Nurse
