The opportunity

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor Cadet to join our Canterbury team.

This is a permanent, full-time position offering real potential for career advancement within the company.

The successful candidate will work with our project teams and be involved in construction projects that cover a broad range of build sectors including commercial, healthcare, education and retail.

To be considered for this opportunity any candidate must have a genuine interest in construction and committed to forging a successful career within this field.

Preference will be given to candidates who are in their final year of study or who have recently completed diploma or degree in Quantity Surveying.

Our Cadetship Programme is a unique opportunity for graduates to gain practical, hands-on experience with an industry leader.

Through a structured learning pathway, cadets will work across all facets of construction, gaining valuable insights from tender stage through to project completion.

Quantity Surveyor Cadet

As a Quantity Surveyor Cadet, you will be mentored under the direction of experienced Quantity Surveyors.

By undertaking assigned projects, you will learn the methodology and programme performance standards on live projects.

This role would suit individuals who wish to experience modern construction techniques and processes in action within a supportive team-based environment.

Key qualities required include the following :

A high level of attention to detail

Good communication skills, both written and verbal

Show initiative in handling and prioritising tasks and solving problems

Work within and contribute to a team environment

The ability to multitask efficiently
