About the role

As a Warehouse Picker / Packer, you will play an important role in getting our warehouse stock out to one of our 200+ stores across the South Island. Working out of our Dry Goods or Chilled / Frozen warehouse, your day-to-day responsibilities include :

The starting payrate is $26.79 per hour, dependent on experience, and we’ll provide PPE too! Your hourly rate is reviewed after 6 months. We are looking for both full-time positions across a variety of shifts - both permanent and fixed-term over the summer period. Please note that all shifts will include a weekend day.

Successful applicants will be required to complete 5 days of paid training on their first week, Monday to Friday. Our Storeperson roles are an awesome place to start your journey with Foodstuffs - with many of our team progressing onto roles right across our organisation.

About you

As most of your shift will be spent on your feet and lifting heavy cartons, being physically fit and able to comfortably lift up-to 25kg is a requirement for this role. If that sounds like you, and you meet our other requirements below, we would love to hear from you :

A Forklift license or experience in a similar role would be ideal but is not a deal breaker for us!
