Information Security Consultant

This role is ideal for individuals with a strong background in Security Architecture who are committed to guiding secure system design and making a strategic contribution to the organisation.As an Information Security Consultant, you'll play a pivotal role in guiding the secure design ASB's Cloud infrastructure and systems.

You'll collaborate with teams across the bank, using your expertise to set a strong security posture and ensure solutions are secure by design.Specifically, you will : Work collaboratively with a broad range of Technology, Cyber and Business stakeholders with focus on the delivery of great cyber security outcomes.Review and assess solution designs, architectures, and change initiatives to ensure they meet ASB's security standards and best practices.Deliver thorough and well-documented written and verbal guidance to project stakeholders regarding technical security risks associated with projects, change initiatives, and new business ventures.Conduct threat modelling and security risk assessments over new and existing services to ensure threats are addressed and effective controls are considered and implemented.Identify and escalate security risks along with remediation recommendations for stakeholder awareness.Maintain awareness of current threats and the potential impact to ASB through continuous development and membership of industry groups.Nga mea kia whai angitu ahau?

| What do I need to be successful?

Broad cyber security capability, expertise, and 6+ years of experience across Cloud and on-premises technology.An in-depth understanding security principles and technology combined with an ability to utilise this knowledge to guide team members and stakeholders to deliver secure by design solutions.Ability to communicate complex cyber security considerations in terms of business outcomes to enable highly informed senior decision making.Ability to focus on areas of most cyber security interest or concern, so that collective efforts are geared to addressing and improving areas where they deliver most value or mitigate most risk.Courage to challenge the status quo to help ensure cyber security outcomes are treated with appropriate focus and priority.Te mahi ki ASB | Working for ASBASB is grounded in our values (caring, integrity, passion, courage and united).
