About the
Role
As a
Gastroenterologist, you will be involved in a wide range of gastroenterology
services, including endoscopy, outpatient clinics, and inpatient care. You will
be working in a high-performing multidisciplinary team with access to
state-of-the-art facilities. This fixed-term role provides the chance to step
into a busy and diverse service where your clinical expertise and collaborative
spirit will be highly valued.

Team / Service / Location
Our
Gastroenterology Department at Christchurch Hospital is a well-established and
collegial team of specialists, registrars, nurses, and allied health
professionals. We deliver comprehensive care across the full spectrum of
gastroenterological conditions, and are actively involved in teaching,
research, and service development.
About you
We are
seeking a motivated and experienced Gastroenterologist who is :
Vocationally registered (or
eligible for registration) with the Medical Council of New Zealand in
Internal Medicine (Gastroenterology)
Confident in both endoscopic and
general gastroenterology practice
Trained in oesophageal manometry
and functional gut disorders
An excellent communicator and
team player
Committed to providing equitable
and high-quality care
