We’re currently looking for Project Managers, Project Engineers, and Site Managers to join our growing team. Across these roles, you’ll play a key part in delivering complex, meaningful projects that improve essential infrastructure and protect our environment.
You won’t be pigeonholed in these roles! You’ll take ownership from concept to completion, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. You’ll work alongside a skilled, passionate, and collaborative team who take pride in what they do.
Please note : these roles are full-time, permanent positions and require regular travel to project sites .
The successful applicants will :
- Build strong, open relationships with clients, sub-contractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure successful project outcomes and long-term partnerships.
- Oversee project delivery from planning through to completion — monitoring progress, budgets, schedules, and quality to ensure all targets are met.
- Identify and manage project risks, issues, and opportunities, taking proactive steps to maintain performance and safety standards.
- Ensure all works meet required quality, health & safety, and environmental compliance standards.
- Manage and support sub-contractors and site teams, fostering collaboration, accountability, and high performance.
- Provide technical guidance and input across design, installation, commissioning, and project delivery phases.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date project documentation, reporting, and cost control records.
- Participate in project reviews and continuous improvement initiatives to drive future success.
- Preferably able to demonstrate a strong understanding of NZ construction contracts (e.g. NZS3910, NZS3916) and industry best practice.
We’re looking for people who :
Hold a relevant qualification — such as a B.E. or tertiary qualification in engineering, construction, or a related field (required for Project Managers and Engineers; trade or equivalent experience valued for Site Managers).Bring strong experience in the water or wastewater, civil, or mechanical construction sectors , with :10+ years’ experience for Project Managers5+ years’ experience for Project Engineers (including 2–3 years in water / wastewater process or design engineering)5+ years’ experience for Site Managers in horizontal infrastructure or construction site management.Have a solid understanding of the end-to-end project delivery process , from design and planning through to commissioning and completion.Are confident working on-site, coordinating teams, and managing contractors to deliver high-quality, safe, and efficient outcomes.Possess excellent communication, leadership, and problem‑solving skills, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.Are comfortable travelling and working on sites across Aotearoa as needed.Are passionate about delivering exceptional results for clients — while having fun and contributing positively to a great team culture!What we offer :
