The primary purpose of the Reliability and Planning Engineer position is to identify and prepare proactive maintenance activities.

This includes generating job plans, preparing work, and optimizing work efficiency in consultation with relevant stakeholders (e.g., Department Managers, Maintenance Supervisors, Storeman).

Using critical thinking, the reliability and Planning Engineer will also focus on aiding the Maintenance Department and be focused on carrying out reliability activities and small projects such as diagnosing failure before they occur, optimising PMs, assisting with facilitating RCAs, focusing on solutions for ongoing reliability issuesWhile the role will work alongside the mechanical team, it may, from time to time, need to participate in reactive maintenance as well.Key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to :
