Attendance Services Manager

Job Overview

Based in Whanganui, the Attendance Services Manager provides leadership and coordination of Jigsaw Whanganui’s Ministry of Education Attendance Services for the Ruapehu region. The role involves supervising a small team of Navigators, overseeing service delivery, managing Ministry reporting, and building strong partnerships with schools, iwi, and community organisations to improve attendance and engagement outcomes for tamariki and rangatahi.

Ideal Applicants Will Have

• A tertiary qualification in social services, education, or management.
• Experience in leadership, coordination, or community-based service delivery.
• Knowledge of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and ability to work confidently within Kaupapa Māori and Pacific frameworks.
• Strong relationship management and reporting skills.

This role is subject to a clean police vet as required under the New Zealand Children’s Act. Only applicants with New Zealand working rights will be considered.
