We are seeking an experienced counsellor for the position of head of counselling at Onehunga High School. You will be leading an established and collaborative team of four counsellors, a psychologist, and an administrator. You will be working alongside a team of three nurses and a doctor to provide a high-quality wraparound service.

The right applicant will have :

• At least five years of person-centred counselling experience, including secondary school counselling.
• A proactive approach and a willingness to initiate and / or manage in-school wellbeing programs.
• A proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships across schools, particularly with senior leadership, teaching staff, and external agencies.
• Excellent organisational skills and a good level of digital literacy.
• Full membership with NZAC or equivalent professional body.
