We’re looking for a passionate engaging educator to support our programs on a part-time basis — 1 or 2 days per week , depending availability.
This role is ideal for someone who is returning to work , looking to supplement their current teaching load , or wanting a flexible position that still allows them to inspire the next generation of young Green School learners. This is a face to face teaching role, so the candidate will need to live locally.

Job description
Green School New Zealand is a growing, small K-12 school (years 1-13 in New Zealand) which serves both a local and international student population in Taranaki, on the North Island of New Zealand. The school began 5 years ago and continues to grow and evolve each year. The school is looking for a motivated Science teacher who thrives working with eager learners, committed families and a collaborative teaching faculty. This teacher will perform multiple duties related to supporting and promoting the academic, social, and emotional development of all school students. The teacher is responsible for designing impactful courses and lessons based upon the GSNZ standards, assessing student progress toward learning goals, maintaining a positive learning environment, actively participating in the learning neighbourhoods, and sharing in the duties of daily school operations.
