Facilities Manager

About the RoleWilson Parking New Zealand is looking for a Facilities Manager / Coordinator to join our Christchurch Operations team.

This role is ideal for someone who is organised, solutions-focused, and confident managing multiple sites and stakeholders.

You will play a key role in ensuring our car parks are well-maintained, safe, compliant, and delivering a high standard of customer service.As the Facilities Manager / Coordinator you will be responsible for the day-to-day performance of multiple parking facilities across Christchurch.

This includes overseeing site maintenance, health and safety compliance, contractor performance, and administrative reporting.This is a full-time position, with 40 hours per week worked Monday to Friday between 7 : 00am and 7 : 00pm.

The role is primarily field based (approximately 75% of the time) with rostered after-hours support required.Key ResponsibilitiesEnsure the smooth operation and presentation of all allocated sites within your portfolioMonitor and report on site performance, equipment faults, compliance, and staffingConduct regular site audits and ensure corrective actions are taken as neededManage external contractors and suppliers, addressing any performance issuesRespond to customer complaints, incidents, or urgent maintenance issuesProvide leadership and support to frontline staff and temporary team membersMaintain accurate records of staffing, safety, maintenance, and operational activitiesLiaise daily with the Operations Team Leader and other senior staff to provide updates and recommendationsWhat You Will BringPrevious experience in a multi-site facilities, operations, or coordination roleKnowledge of health and safety legislation and compliance requirementsStrong reporting, time management, and problem-solving skillsIntermediate to advanced computer literacy, especially in Excel and WordConfidence in leading teams and working with a range of stakeholdersA full New Zealand driver's licence is requiredExperience in parking operations, facilities management, or a similar field is highly regardedWhat We OfferOpportunities for ongoing training and career developmentThe chance to work autonomously while being supported by an experienced teamA varied role where your leadership and operational oversight will make a tangible impactIf you are ready to take the next step in your facilities or operations career, apply now to join Wilson Parking!
