Health and Safety Compliance Specialist

One of our customers key strategies is to allow their workforce access the right information, from the right place, securely and at the right time.

To allow this and their significant workforce which is spread throughout New Zealand they are upping their focus on Health and Safety Compliance, hence this role.

Health & Safety Compliance

• Develop and maintain site-specific health and safety plans in accordance with the Health and Safety at Work Act (HSWA) and relevant construction codes of practice.
• Investigate incidents, injuries, and near misses, ensuring timely reporting and corrective actions.
• Ensure all workers, contractors, and visitors receive appropriate health and safety inductions and training.
• Monitor and enforce the use of PPE, safe work methods, and permit-to-work systems.
• Maintain accurate records of incidents, inspections, and training.

Management and Regulatory Compliance

From an experience / qualification perspective we are ideally looking for :

This role is a Lower Hutt  /  Petone based role but there could be some travel throughout New Zealand.

This has the ability to be a 4mth Fixed Term Contract (salary / leave etc) or an hourly rate engagement as a contractor.
