    We have an exciting opportunity for a Registered Nurse who has a passion for working with women, babies and their whanau.

    While this is a casual position based on the Maternity Ward, there is opportunity to orientate to, and work in, other areas of Womens Health.

    You will collaborate with a highly skilled team, including Registered Nurses, Registered Midwives, Lactation Consultants, Health Care Assistants, Clerical staff, the medical team, allied health and other services.

    About the Team

    Ward E2 is the Maternity Ward caring for both antenatal and postnatal women who require secondary or tertiary level care maternity care.

    We are part of the Womens Health Service which includes Delivery Suite, Womens Assessment Unit, E1A Gynaecology Ward, E1B Induction of Labour / Antenatal Ward, and Womens Health Clinics.

    While this is a challenging environment, it is equally very rewarding and you will be part of a dedicated and supportive team.

    About you

    You are a kind and committed Registered Nurse who thrives in a collaborative team environment.

    You bring adaptability, strong communication skills, and a patient-first mindset.

    What you will bring :

    • Current NZNC registration and Annual Practicing Certificate.
    • Have completed a NETP programme or have a minimum of 2 years experience within the NZ health setting.
    • Strong organisational and communication skills.
    • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
    • Commitment to delivering safe, high quality, patient-centred care.
    • Experience working in the maternity setting would be an advantage.
