Minimum Working Hours : 30 hours per week

Pay & Benefits : $30-35 per hour (negotiable depending on experience / qualification)

Key Responsibilities of the role :

Assist with potting, pruning, weeding, mulching, and general nursery duties as needed.

Load and unload plant stock for delivery or internal transfer.

Maintain propagation houses, shade houses, tunnels, and controlled environments.

Implement hygiene protocols, including sterilising equipment, cleaning benches, and preventing cross-contamination.

Monitor plant growth and health, identifying nutrient deficiencies, pests, and diseases.

Apply fertilizers, pesticides, and biological controls according to best practices and compliance standards.

Transplant seedlings, prick out cuttings, and shift plants into bigger containers as required.

Watering and maintaining consistent moisture levels.

Perform propagation using seeds, cuttings, grafting, layering, division, and tissue-culture–derived seedlings

Prepare propagation media, trays, pots, and benches.

Maintain accurate propagation records, germination percentages, and batch identification.
