Role Overview

As the Generative AI Engineer, you will translate cutting‑edge AI research into practical, scalable solutions for internal use, developing and deploying generative AI models that enhance business operations and system functionalities.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and implement Gen AI solutions aligned with One NZ strategic AI and Data objectives.
  • Adapt and tailor AI models to meet internal project needs, integrating seamlessly with existing company systems.
  • Utilize APIs to integrate AI capabilities with existing tools and platforms within our technology ecosystem.
  • Collaborate cross‑functional teams to translate business requirements into AI‑driven solutions.
  • Develop automated workflows using AI solutions.
  • Test and deploy machine learning models and algorithms to address business challenges.
  • Stay up‑to‑date with the latest advancements in AI technologies and incorporate them into our solutions.

Qualifications

  • Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python and Java.
  • Experience with machine learning frameworks.
  • Expertise in building multi‑agent AI systems.
  • In‑depth knowledge of API development and integration.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and their AI services.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Adaptability to fast‑paced, dynamic environments and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
