THE OPPORTUNITY

We're looking for a Dairy Farm Assistant to join the high-performing team at Renown Dairy.

In this role, you'll assist with a range of farm tasks — from milking, calving, and feeding stock, to effluent management, spraying, and fencing.

You'll play an important part in the day-to-day operations and work closely with your team to help meet production and animal welfare goals.

You'll receive full training and support, and we'll encourage you to take the initiative, develop your skills, and support newer team members along the way.

This is a hands-on role ideal for someone with a great work ethic and a passion for farming.

About Us

Pamu Landcorp Farming Limited is a State-Owned Enterprise with over 110 farms across New Zealand.

Our purpose is to lead the delivery of innovative and sustainable agriculture solutions for future generations.

THE FARM

Renown Dairy Unit is located between Taupo and Rotorua.

• cows are milked once a day through a 60-bail rotary shed that has a vast array of technology to help monitor & measure overall performance.

The farm is set on 640 ha of varying terrain.

About You

You'll bring a willingness to learn, get stuck in, and contribute to the team's success.

Experience in a similar dairy farming role (or a strong interest in developing one)

Good communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team

A proactive attitude with initiative and commitment to animal welfare and health & safety

The ability to coach and support junior or new staff where required

A current NZ restricted or full driver's licence
