About the Playgroup

Featherston Plunket Playgroup is a safe, lively, and nurturing space for children aged 0–4 years to explore, learn, and grow. As a volunteer, you’ll be part of a supportive team that makes parents feel welcome, encourages social connections, and helps little ones enjoy rich play and learning experiences.

What you’ll do

• Help set up fun activities and engaging materials for tamariki.
• Welcome parents and guardians, making them feel supported and valued.
• Encourage whānau to connect with each other and build friendships.
• Support children as they play, explore, and learn.
• Pitch in with set-up and tidy-up before and after each session.
