Y7–10 classroom release teacher, 0.8 FTTE, permanent, starting term 1, 2026.
We have an amazing team and this is an exciting opportunity to provide a specialised Te Ao Māori programme as a classroom release teacher to our Y7–10 ākonga.
The successful applicant will have the skill and enthusiasm to deliver a Te Ao Māori programme that will develop te reo and tikanga Māori of all learners at our school. They will be able to collaborate with other teachers in the development of cross-curricular programmes of learning that engage diverse learners. We are a PB4L and restorative practices school. Abilities and confidence in using te reo Māori and Tikanga Māori in the classroom is essential as well as a commitment to ongoing professional learning.

The terms and conditions, including base salary, for this position are set by the relevant collective agreement, and depending on the applicant’s qualifications and experience. Individuals' actual base salary will be established by a salary assessment once a role is confirmed.
