Permanent, Part time (0.6FTE / 48 hours per fortnight)

About the role

We are a busy secondary care maternity unit, overseeing 1250 births per annum, with a full range of secondary obstetric services. We provide a supportive medical team and colleagues in a friendly hospital that is big enough to offer clinical variety but small enough to provide great team relationships. This is an opportunity to combine job satisfaction with enjoyable lifestyle options in one of New Zealands prime tourist areas.

You will be responsible for :

• Provision of clinical midwifery services in accordance with the Midwifery Council scope of practice
• Provision of primary and secondary maternity services as part of our inter-disciplinary clinical teams
• Being committed to maintaining clinical skills in accordance with organisational best practice guidelines
• Being committed to continuous quality improvement activities
