Skin Institute is New Zealand owned and operated and has been improving lives of New Zealanders for nearly 30 years. With a vision to be the leading provider in skin and veins, we have a multidisciplinary team specialising in skin cancer, varicose veins and premium appearance medicine services.

Reception Administrator (Wellington Clinic)

One of our valued Reception Administrators is relocating overseas, opening up a fantastic opportunity to join our warm, professional, and close-knit team in Wellington.

We’re looking for someone who is :

  • Proactive and solutions-focused
  • An excellent communicator with a confident phone manner
  • Skilled in administration with strong attention to detail
  • Comfortable with IT systems and eager to learn new skills

Key Responsibilities

  • Welcoming patients, answering calls, and providing exceptional front-line service
  • Managing bookings, admissions / discharges, and maintaining accurate patient records
  • Handling insurance preapprovals and invoicing with accuracy and efficiency
  • Supporting the team with a range of administrative tasks
  • What You’ll Bring

  • Previous experience in reception and / or administration (medical sector experience is a bonus but not essential)
  • A positive, can-do attitude and a patient-centric approach
  • A keen eye for process improvement and service delivery

    Hours of Work

    This is a permanent, full-time position working Monday to Friday. Shifts vary between :

  • 7 : 30 AM – 4 : 00 PM
  • 8 : 00 AM – 4 : 30 PM
  • 9 : 00 AM – 5 : 30 PM
