Responsibilities
Ensure the efficient and effective operation of all network and server equipment, including the maintenance, upgrades, and installation of network and server components.
Administer and manage servers, networking switches, routers, firewall, workstations, and network infrastructure to ensure smooth operations.
Manage and maintain existing server hardware and software to ensure they remain operational and up to date.
Perform regular updates, patches, and security assessments to keep servers and systems secure.
Safeguard the integrity of company data by configuring firewalls, antivirus software, and other security measures.
Conduct periodic system maintenance, plan for application upgrades, and provide training to users as needed.
Troubleshoot complex technical issues, including network connectivity, software problems, and hardware failures.
Oversee the configuration and management of network infrastructure, including switches, routers, and VPNs.
Microsoft 365 and AD administrator.
Implement and manage security protocols to protect systems and data from unauthorized access and cyber threats.
Manage backup and disaster recovery plans, conduct system audits, and analyze system performance.
Ensure compliance with data backup protocols and security measures, ensuring Institute data is protected with robust, regularly updated solutions.
