Job description

Overview

Are you ready to take on high-stakes litigation work without the rigid hierarchy of a large firm? This boutique disputes practice offers an outstanding opportunity for an ambitious Associate with at least three years’ PQE to step into a hands-on, intellectually stimulating role.

You’ll be part of a team of lawyers who have come from Top Tier law firms and have built a practice that combines top-tier quality work with a flexible, supportive environment. The partners are committed to developing their people and ensuring that everyone gets meaningful experience across all aspects of litigation and dispute resolution.

The Role

You’ll work directly with experienced partners and senior counsel on complex commercial, regulatory and class-action disputes. The role offers full exposure from day one, drafting, managing evidence, preparing bundles, and progressing to advocacy. This is a chance to shape file direction, contribute to strategy and build real courtroom experience.

Examples of Current and Recent Work

  • Acting on large-scale investor and shareholder disputes
  • Advising on regulatory investigations and enforcement actions across multiple sectors
  • Representing clients in high-value class actions and appeals
  • Managing commercial disputes arising from construction, infrastructure and financial-services projects

What We’re Looking For

  • Minimum of 3 years’ PQE in litigation or dispute resolution
  • Strong academic background (LLB (Hons) or comparable; LLM from a leading overseas university highly regarded)
  • Excellent drafting, analytical and client-facing skills
  • Confidence to take ownership of files and contribute to case strategy
  • Flexible, team-oriented mindset and an appetite for growth
  • What’s on Offer

  • Access to sophisticated, top-tier-level matters in a smaller, collaborative team
  • Close mentorship and direct partner exposure
  • Flexible working environment that supports family and lifestyle commitments
  • Competitive remuneration aligned with large-firm market rates
  • Genuine opportunity to fast-track your development and advocacy experience
  • This is a rare chance to join a high-calibre practice that values quality work, professional growth and balance.
