Job Description Te Whiwhinga mahi | The opportunity We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and driven Product Owner to join our Automation Services team.
This is a pivotal role during a period of integration and growth, where your leadership and expert interpersonal skills will help shape the future of automation within our organisation.
As a Product Owner, you will drive innovation and advance automation across our organisation.
Working closely with the Business Platforms Manager, you'll help shape smarter, more efficient solutions as we move into the next phase of our automation journey Key responsibilities include : Prioritising and Delivering Value : Evaluate business value and guide prioritisation within the Automation Services team backlog including new features and functionality, maintaining modern, secure products, and supporting the team in resolving roadblocks.
Product Expertise : Act as the primary source of Automation Services product information, representing customer and stakeholder interests to the delivery team.
Governance Reporting : Prepare insights and actively lead in key governance forums relating to Automation Services.
Relationship Building : Establish and nurture strong relationships across internal teams (technology and customer / business teams) and external partners.
Strategic Alignment : Match Automation technology solutions with business strategies through collaboration and influence.
Innovation Advocacy : Help define and promote our Automation Toolkit technologies to support business partners to improve their service delivery.
Roadmap Development : Create and manage strategic Automation product roadmaps that deliver on our vision and future goals.
This is a full time (37.5 hours / week) permanent position, with a salary range of $120,000 - $140,000 per annum depending on skills and experience.

Skilled in managing the value in product backlogs and working within Agile (Scrum) frameworks, you take a methodical approach to structuring workloads.
Your ability to build strong relationships with business partners, engage staff, and deliver practical, solutions-focused outcomes ensures success as we innovate and scale.
