    This role plays a key part in that journey, helping us build a more connected, empowered and strategically aligned P&C function.

    As a People Administrator, you will be a valued member of our People Services team, delivering essential HR administrative support to staff and managers across the country.

    You'll be the first point of contact for a wide range of People & Capability queries, responding through multiple channels including email, phone, and Awhina.

    Your role will involve managing end-to-end processes for staff changes such as : onboarding, offboarding, internal movements, and updates to terms and conditions, ensuring these important moments are handled with care and precision.

    Collaboration is at the heart of this role.

    You'll work closely with your team and the wider People & Capability group, sharing knowledge, supporting your peers, and contributing to regular practice development sessions.

    Your ability to build strong, professional relationships with stakeholders will help ensure smooth and effective service delivery across the Department.

    We're looking for someone who brings :

    • Experience in HR administration, with an understanding of relevant legislation, processes and a strong sense of confidentiality and professionalism.
    • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams) and experience using our internal systems such as Awhina and SAP (preferred).
    • Highly adaptable and able to learn new systems and processes,
    • Attention to detail with strong prioritisation and time management skills as well as a good problem-solving ability.
    • Strong communication skills, with a proactive approach and a collaborative working style.

      The midpoint of the salary range is $66,007 per annum and the full range (85%-120%) is $56,106 - $79,209 per annum.

      Appointment and remuneration will reflect skills and experience relevant to the role.
