If you want to make a difference in the lives of rangatahi, then read on as this could be the role for you. Youth Pathways is a not-for-profit organisation that provides support to youth aged 10-21 years and their family / caregivers.

Youth Pathways provides pathways for rangatahi at various levels from mentoring through to intensive daily support. All young people have an individual plan developed specific to their needs to ensure development.

We are based in Addington and Rolleston.

To undertake this role the successful person will need :

• To hold a current full drivers licence.
• To be flexible with work hours (Mainly 8.30am - 5.00pm Monday to Friday).
• To be eligible to work in New Zealand.
• Experience in working with youth.
• The ability to work in an inter-agency collaborative setting.

Advantages the successful person will have :

Employment will be subject to a clear NZ Police vet and background check under the requirements of the Vulnerable Children's Act 2014.

Youth Pathways is a not-for-profit organisation that provides an intensive wrap-a-round support service to youth and their families aged 10-21 years, through a variety of programmes.

We are looking for a experienced and motivated youth worker to join the team.

Although this position is advertised as a Youth Worker position we invite Social Workers to apply also. Pay will be in line with Social Worker pay scale.
