Responsibilities

• Develop and implement Little Dinosaurs’ visual arts-centric programmes.
• Create a safe and stimulating environment for children's growth and development.
• Establish positive relationships with families, adhering to our centre's philosophy and policies.
• ECE qualified and registered teacher with a current NZ provisional or full practising certificate.
• Strong understanding of NZ ECE curriculum (Te Whāriki), biculturalism, and cultural identity implementation in the learning environment.
• Works collaboratively with colleagues, sharing ideas and good practice.
• In-depth knowledge of ECE legislation, standards, policies, and procedures.
• Initiative, passion for quality practice, and commitment to Te Whāriki principles.
• Exceptional communication skills and a strong sense of empathy.
• Legally resides in New Zealand with the relevant work visa (we are NOT an accredited employer ).
