Avanti Finance Group is seeking a Head of Collections to lead our end‑to‑end collections strategy and operations across a diverse portfolio. This senior leadership role is pivotal in balancing commercial outcomes with customer‑centric practices, ensuring regulatory compliance, and driving continuous improvement in collections effectiveness and experience.

As a key member of the Risk and Operations leadership team, you’ll shape strategy, build high‑performing teams, and deliver operational excellence from early intervention through to legal recovery.

What You’ll Do

• Develop and execute strategies aligned with business objectives and risk appetite. Drive arrears reduction, loss mitigation, and recovery targets.
• Design and maintain operating models, policies, and workflows. Champion automation and digitisation initiatives.
• Uphold CCCFA, Privacy Act, Harassment Act, and industry codes. Embed frameworks for hardship and vulnerable customers.
• Build capability, drive engagement, and foster a culture of continuous improvement and customer focus.
• Collaborate with Risk, Operations, Technology, Product and Finance to deliver integrated strategies and insights.
