With a commitment to innovation, customer service, and operational excellence, we are looking for an experienced General Manager to lead the business into its next stage of growth.
We are seeking a strategic, results-driven, and hands-on General Manager to oversee daily operations, drive business development, manage staff, and strengthen our market presence. The ideal candidate has strong leadership capabilities, a deep understanding of retail / wholesale operations, and the ability to streamline processes while expanding business opportunities. This is a permanent full-time positions and you are required to work at least 40 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities
Business Leadership & Strategy
- Develop and execute business strategies to achieve growth, profitability, and operational targets.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and customer experience.
- Lead long-term planning relating to product lines, sales channels, and market expansion.
Operational & Financial Management
Oversee daily operations, inventory control, procurement, logistics, and store management.Monitor budgets, financial performance, and cost controls to ensure strong profitability.Analyse sales data and market trends to guide business decisions.Team Leadership
Manage, mentor, and develop a diverse team across sales, warehouse, admin, and customer service.Ensure high performance, clear communication, and a positive work environment.Drive training, workforce planning, and performance review processes.Sales, Marketing & Customer Relations
Lead retail and wholesale sales initiatives to increase revenue and market share.Manage key customer accounts and build strong relationships with suppliers, contractors, and partners.Oversee marketing initiatives, promotions, and brand development.Quality & Compliance
Ensure product quality standards, showroom presentation, and customer service excellence.Maintain compliance with workplace health & safety, employment regulations, and company policies.Skills & Qualifications
Essential
At least a Master's Degree is required with specialisation in Management, Business, or MarketingProven experience in a management role is requiredStrong business acumen with excellent financial and operational management abilities.Experience leading multi-functional teams and improving organisational performance.Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
