Please note that only short-listed candidates will be contacted.DesignationLead, Location Production & Post-ProductionResponsibilitiesPurpose of this role : Leads the Location Resource Unit and Central Post Unit to ensure seamless delivery of content from location production through to post-production.

It exists to manage teams, uphold broadcast standards, and deliver high-quality content efficiently and creatively.Scope : Lead and manage both the Location Resource Unit and Central Post Unit within a broadcast environment.Oversee the end-to-end workflow from production (camera, sound, lighting crews) to post-production (editing, graphics, sound, finishing).

Ensure compliance with broadcast standards, regulatory requirements, and safety protocols.Drive operational efficiency, workflow optimization, and adoption of new technologies.Manage people leadership, talent development, and vendor / freelancer relationships to support production demands.Deliver high-quality content that meets creative, editorial, and technical objectives across platforms.Key Responsibilities : Provide leadership to both the Location Resource Unit and Central Post Unit, ensuring smooth coordination and efficiency.Plan, schedule and manage crew deployment, and equipment usage in line with production needs.Supervise location shoots (camera, lighting, sound) to ensure technical excellence, safety, and creative integrity.Oversee post-production workflows including editing, sound design, graphics, and finishing for timely, high-quality delivery.Enforce compliance with broadcast standards and regulations.Mentor and develop team members, driving continuous improvement in skills, workflows, and output quality.Act as the main liaison between production, editorial, and creative stakeholders to maintain storytelling consistency.Complexity Management : Balancing tight deadlines with the need for high-quality, creative output.Managing multiple teams and complex workflows across production and post-production simultaneously.Ensuring seamless handoffs between location crews and post-production despite varied project requirements.Keeping up with rapidly evolving technologies and integrating new tools into established workflows.Addressing resource constraints (crew availability, equipment scheduling, budgetary limits) while meeting production demands.Maintaining compliance with broadcast regulations and safety protocols in both field and post environments.QualificationsFunctional & Technical Competencies : Strategic Decision-Making - Plan, prioritize and deliver under tight timelines.People Leadership - Inspire, coach, and develop production and post-production teams.Collaboration & Communication - Build alignment across stakeholders and teams.Adaptability & Innovation - Embrace new technologies and drive workflow improvements.Communication - Clearly conveys information and instructions across technical and creative teams.Teamwork - Builds collaboration and cooperation between location crews, post-production, and stakeholders.Problem-Solving - Anticipates issues, resolves challenges quickly, and ensures seamless production workflows.Adaptability - Adjusts to changing broadcast priorities, technologies, and production demands.Technical Proficiency - Strong knowledge of camera, sound, editing, and broadcast standards to guide teams effectively.Qualification and Experience : Degree in relevant discipline.Extensive production background with proven ability to lead both location camera crews and post-production teams.Minimum 8-10 years in television, film, or media production, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership / management role.Hands-on expertise in camera systems, lighting, sound, and location operations.Strong track record in post-production supervision, including editing, graphics, audio, colour grading, and final delivery.Demonstrated experience in managing complex workflows, meeting tight deadlines, and upholding broadcast standards.Proven ability to mentor and develop talent, and collaborate across editorial, creative, and technical functions.
